You need at least one SIP channel for every call happening at a given time. So, for example, 50 simultaneous calls will require 50 channels.
Your existing phone system can likely support native or software-based delivery of SIP Channels. However, for those who do not, Frontier can supply a gateway that will convert SIP Channels into the legacy interfaces supported by your phone systems.
Frontier’s SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) Trunking services are fully compatible with major phone systems and VoIP providers across Canada and the USA. Trusted by businesses of all sizes, our SIP channels offer a modern, flexible alternative to traditional phone lines—designed for performance, scalability, and savings.
